Ana Eliseu

Lisbon, 1979. Graduated in Media Studies, with a specialization in Communication and Culture, by the New University of Lisbon. In 2000, with the Erasmus program, she studied at the Université Saint Dennis/Vincennes, Paris, where she made Voix Humaine (20’). Returning to Lisbon, she directed Tomorrow is today plus the sunflowers (24’) and the documentary Big-house (8’). In 2007, with Mathilde Neves, she directed rises, thickens, shreds, falls (33’). In 2007 she took a film directing course by the dffb (Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin) at the Gulbenkian Foundation and made the short Luís and the garden left behind (9’). She completed the Advanced Course in Plastic Arts at Ar.Co (Lisbon) and has participated in a number of collective exhibitions.
