🏆 NOITE PERPÉTUA won the award for Best Short-film in the International Competition at Film Fest Gent.
The jury of the Short-film Competition, composed by the director and musician Baloji, by the Bulgarian director Eliza Petkova and by the diretor Dorian Jespers, declared:
🎤 "When we came out of the screening, we all agreed immediately that we were in the presence of a director who has things to say and is able to structure his narrative. The night and nature were surrounding us; the silence was full, the moonlight was global. Our senses were devoted to Peralta’s choreography. The most natural pace, the continuous present, allowed this historical story to develop under tension. As Albert Serra would say: "It’s a past that is being born again." The past as a common memory or dream that started long before the screening and will go on forever, our perpetual night."
